Easter Brunch Progressive Worship
10 AM at 2326 University Ave
Bring a dish to share and join us for Easter Brunch and Celebratory Progressive Worship at 2326 University Avenue just down the street from Drake University. Free accessible parking is behind the building and free street parking on university & cross streets. Our worship is always LGBTQIA+ Affirming and Black Lives Matter Proclaiming. If you are a first time visitor, please be our guest and don't feel the need to bring a dish to share. We'll have plenty of delicious food to share with you! Also streamed on Facebook Live. We look forward to celebrating Easter and Transgender Day of Visibility Together!
Easter Sunrise Service
Grays Lake Park at 7 AM
Join us for a lovely sunrise Easter worship beside the lake and in the glory of creation. Dress warm and bring a blanket or lawn chair. Enter through the north gate and follow our signs. Parking is easy and right by our worship spot on the north side of the lake beside the restrooms. Arrive early to watch the sunrise at 6:45. Worship begins at 7 AM. Our worship is always LGBTQIA+ Affirming and Black Lives Matter Proclaiming.
Good Friday Worship
Woodland Cemetery at 5:30 PM
Experience an evening of meaningful progressive worship at the Woodland Cemetery on March 29th at 5:30 PM. Join us for a soulful gathering as we come together to reflect in this beautiful space. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and follow our signs once you enter the cemetery at 2019 Woodland Ave.
Maundy Thursday
4111 Ingersolle Ave. at 6 PM
Folks are invited to bring a finger food and beverage to share as we celebrate Jesus' last meal with his disciples and his commandment to love one another. This evening will be held at 4111 Ingersoll Ave in the community room. We're grateful to DD member G Clague for hosting!
Parking information: Turn North on 41st Street and enter the first driveway on the left. Accessible and other parking is available to the left and near the front door overhand. Additional parking can be found on 41st Street along Ingersoll Ave. All parking is Free.
