Serve the hungry and homeless: On the fourth Sunday of each month we partner with JOPPA outreach to provide essential supplies to those experiencing housing and/or food insecurity. We invite you to join us! 

 

Share Your Financial Resources: When you give to Downtown Disciples you are uplifting your community by supporting racial justice, providing gender affirming care, keeping folks in their homes and so much more. 

 

Welcome Refugees: We partner with Iowa Migrant Movement for Justice to dismantle the systemic barriers immigrant and refugees face.

Volunteer with us at Nursing Homes: Join us every third Sunday of the month at 1 PM at Scottish Rite Senior Living Home (2909 Woodland Ave) as we come together in worship to cultivate a sense of community and connection. Your presence not only uplifts spirits but also fosters meaningful relationships among neighbors, enriching lives with every conversation.

 

Serve as an activist in Des Moines: Serve as a social justice warrior by joining us at our next Capitol lobby or protest, joining a social justice advocacy group or standing up for the rights of neighbors being affected by hurtful legislation. Email us and get connected today!
