John Noble is no stranger to Downtown Disciples! His roots with our community go back to our earliest days of formation. John began worshiping, protesting, doing justice and loving mercy with us while working on his religion degree at Drake University. In 2016 John became our first student intern. We missed John's presence in our community while he earned his Master of Divinity Degree, graduating from Brite Divinity School in Fort Worth Texas. We were delighted when John moved back to Des Moines and began serving as our Administrative Assistant!  In addition to John's intimate knowledge of our community, he brings his passion for social justice, experience in ecumenical ministry, theological education, contagious energy, humor and social media skills, to our DD community. John is also an exceptionally gifted preacher, filling the pulpit for us often. We're blessed to have John as part of our ministry and community!
